There is no limit to the number of devices you can use at the fair.
iPhone Device Requirements
- Supported iPhones: iPhone XS or later (Released in 2018 onwards)
- iOS Version: iOS 18.0.1 or later
- Internet Access: Wireless or 4G
- Permissions: Location Services - ON
- Security Mechanism: The phone must be lockable with a security mechanism (PIN, password, fingerprint, etc.).
Android Device Requirements
- Supported Android: 11 or later
- Internet Access: Wireless or 4G
- Requirements:
- It contains functioning NFC antenna and chipset
- Uses Google Mobile Services and has the Google Play Store app installed
- Android Device Settings:
- Navigate to your device Settings > Connections > NFC and Contactless Payments.*
- Toggle on Contactless Payments to enable.

Do I need Location Services on?
YES, the app requires Location Services to be allowed. You can choose to allow them only for that app and only when using that app.

The checkout is greyed out?
Please swipe down and refresh your screen to force your phone to connect to Tap & Go. Also, check your iOS version to ensure it is above 18.0.1
Difficulty Registering?
If you are having difficulty registering and are on the School Wi-Fi network, and internet access is not generally available (i.e., your school operates on a white list of allowed sites), please turn Wi-Fi off to proceed.
How do I edit my user account?
- Profile Edit: You can edit your profile, including your app name and password.
- Delete Account: In the Data and Privacy section, you can delete your account, which disables it in the system.
What cards are supported?
The app supports all major credit and debit cards in Australia using the physical card or digital wallets such as Google Pay or Apple Pay.
Is the app secure?
- The app is fully secure, with all transactions managed by Stripe, a well-known and trusted payments processor that is fully PCI compliant.)
- All API transactions are secured through tokenisation and hosted on the AWS platform.
- Card details are not stored on the device or visible to any app user or staff.
- The app limits opportunities for fraudulent activity.
Can I change the Fair I'm working with?
YES, select the EXIT button on the home screen to switch to a new Fair or log out of the app.
