This template was created by a Shanae Simpson – Maths Team Leader to help her monitor her students' progress in the PR1ME sequence and reduce the amount of time spent on planning each week. With the detailed PR1ME planning already provided in the Teacher Guides, she designed a quick and simple method to track progress, plan groups, and clearly communicate lesson plans to relievers and CRT teachers.
This template was circulated around her school, helping teachers reclaim some of their precious time and facilitating forward planning by providing clarity on the number of lessons students still needed to complete. She hopes this template will support other teachers across Aotearoa teaching PR1ME Maths and prove beneficial to them like it has for her school.
